Nail Tutorial: Glitters like a Star

This is what I did today with my nails.  Unfortunately, my camera doesn't get the full effect.  In person it looks way different and prettier too.
I am going to show you how to do it.  It's really easy and fast to do.  Plus, in the end I'm going to put the video from where I got the inspiration.  You can see the steps more clearly in there.


This is what you need:

1. Essie base and top coat - All in one base 2. China Glaze - Seduce Me 3. Essie Luxeffects - A Cut Above 4. Essie Luxeffects - Shine of the Times

Cosmetic Wedge

It is not necessary to use the same colors I used. You can make your own combinations.  One of your glitter nail polish needs to have bigger  flakes than the other.

1. Apply your base coat and let it dry.
2. Use a solid color to paint your nails and make sure to let it dry completely.
3. In one part of the cosmetic wedge put a little of the nail polish glitter with the bigger flakes and dab it on your nails.  Start in the middle of your nails and then go down,  Repeat this step again but concentrate the polish more on the tips of your nails.
4. After the first coat of glitter is completely dry paint your nails completely with the other glitter polish (one with smaller flakes).  Let it dry.
5. Finish with a top coat for extra shine!
